AMAPIANO MASSIVE – FRIDAY 16 JUNE 2023, YOUTH DAY. THE STATION – NEWTOWN, JOHANNESBURG.

Wednesday 17 June 2023, Johannesburg, South Africa – Amapiano Massive will celebrate the youth of 2023 through its Internationally renowned sound of Amapiano.The event was launched in December 2021 with the likes of De Mthuda, Thuli P, Babalwa M, Msaro, Bantu Elements, Mdu AKA TRP and any other upcoming DJs/Artists.

The aim is to highlight an historical event by celebrating upcoming and influential Amapiano artists from semi-disadvantaged areas like Soweto, Alexandra and Ekurhuleni and Tshwane. Our partnership with SAMPRA Development Fund shows the commitment to guide and give opportunities to artists/Djs to showcase their skills and craft through a live event.

The festival will be held at a historic and central venue, The Station, Newtown, Johannesburg. We aim to host 4000-6000 patrons through a free online ticket platform from 2pm till 2am with no pass out after 6pm.

Gates open at 1pm to accommodate the day vibes, dedicated to sundowner drinks and activities. Throughout the festival, we will showcase live entertainment – DJs, Artists, Dancers, MCs and Influencers of youth culture.

Some of the event features will be a dedicated food area, VIP lounge, hubbly lounge, 360 camera booth, a dedicated Uber/Bolt pickup and drop-off zone, dedicated parking and a cash bar. We have
partnered with one of SA’s bespoke bar services company Push The Bar to host a Shweppes and Jäegermeister beverage experience.

Free limited tickets, available through online RSVP allocation on www.amapianomassive.com from Tuesday 16 May 2023. All VIP packages will be made available through a booking system via our social media platforms.

Doors open at 1pm and the show ends at 2am. LineUp will be announced on our social media platforms.
